Both versions share an almost identically core, therefore they are very equal in functionality and robustness.

The Windows Program is accessible thru a handy toolbar icon and has as an additional feature, the reconnection warning. It requires Microsoft .NET (version 2.0 or higher), the installer downloads and installs all necessary components.

The Java Program is a command line tool. It has the same functionality like the Windows version, except the reconnection warning. This needs at least Java version 1.5 to run. The program has been tested on several Java platforms and should run on any Computer with Java 1.5 (e.g. on Linux but also on Windows etc.).
